What can I do

Hi everyone thanks for your input. I am 25 5'9 225 I am in decent shape as far as running and strength but I know I need to loose about 30lbs. I have currently been running 1 mile at 6.0 mph 5 days a week for two weeks now and lifting for about 30 min after running alternating target areas daily. My ? Is this . Am I on a good routine and when should I change it up?
