hello everyone i wanted to know if any of you can give me any advice on how to lose 20lbs in like 1 or 2 months.

im a 20 year old guy im about 5.8 and i weight 175 lbs my weight should be about 150 or 155 i think and i was wondering what is the best method for me to lose weight , and what to eat. i really enjoy playing football and im good at it but im losing all my condition and i get tired too fast. thanks for the help in advance.

As for exercise, just start slow, make a plan, and get out there and move! Start out with a walking program, then progress to a walk/run, then progress to a run program. Are you planning on going to a gym at all or just doing all of your exercise at home?

I was playing college football when I was 20

My answer to how you can lose a quick 20 is simple.....workout like crazy...as a healthy active 20 year old I bet you can really log some gym, track,pool,court, field (whatever) time.


That and really eat healthy and the weight will melt off of you. Boy I wish I had my 20 year old metabolism back!

well i used to be in shape 3 years ago but i got fat after i almost broke my ankle( playing soccer) so i was in bed for like 1 month and after that my doctor found an inguinal hernia thats why i gained the 20lbs now i want to lose the extra pounds but i think its more like lack of motivation.
 
im thinking about going to the gym and do a lot of swimming and some running because i cant lift weights because of my hernia.

but i want to lose the extra pound before i get surgery but my biggest problem is on what to eat. i eat too much junk food and fast food thats why i can never lose weight.

what do you guys eat to stay in shape?
 
Okay you need what I call the majic snowball....I have described this in my thread over on the weight loss diary section but heres how it works


Activiy (stringing one or two days together) will create good feelings or positive state of mind which leads to more activity and before you know it you are on a roll.


Just get out and do something...swim, lift, bike , walk...whatever and you will be on your way!
