What areas are Lats and Traps?

I spoke with Rip and he helped me out with a good workout plan, but I'm just curious. What areas are the lats and traps? I know they are parts of your stomach, but I'm not sure which excercises are best for these particular areas. Would they be areas that work the side muscles and the lower/upper muscles? Thanks
 
Lats = Latissimus Dorsi
Lats are your upper back that create that "V-look". Work these out with pull-ups, chin-ups, lat pulldown, bentover dumbbell rows, bentover rows, t-bar rows, and lat pullover.

Traps = Trapezius
The traps are split into three areas (upper, middle, and lower). The upper ones are what connect you neck to your shoulders. Workout the upper with shrugs. Middle and lower with bentover dumbbell raises.

Ahh ok. I was totally off on that one then. LoL. Thanks Rip. And thanks again for the routine, now I just have to get my eating habits right and I think I'll be set! :)
