see right now i want to bulk up a bit but alot of pepole say you should do cardio after weightlifting but would that burn some muscel and what are the benifits of doing cardio while bulking so please help thanks.
From what I've read you should seperate the two. For example weights one day, cardio the next. Or cardio in the A.M. and weights in the afternoon or evening.
There is no point in doing cardio more than 20minutes post workout.
The only thing i could suggest being worth it, would be to do hit directly after your workout for 15 minutes, then fill up with lots of protein and carbs right after. That way the weightlifting will deminish your carbs, and the HIIT will burn the fat, which is mostly all thats in u left for energy, along with a bit of protein, but thats why you load up on carbs/protein right after, so you muscles still get to have that prime absorbtion time .
Working out, having a protein shake/eating isn't worth it because your simply burning the protein/carbs in your shake/meal. Then your muscles have nothing to absorb to rebuild themselves.
Like karl said, keep cardio on off days or split with weight training in different times of the day. And/or do directly after weightlifting (for no longer than 10-15 minutes HIIT)
