What about fibre drinks? does it matter how many calories too?

I have heard that having a couple of days consuming extra fibre can help with cleaning out your system, which also reduces your weight because it gets rid of the stuff in your stomach that has sat about.

I drank a fibre drink this morning, and am hoping that someone will tell me it's ok to do so!!!

also, I am on a calorie counter site...and have been honest, yet, of the 2000 calories I am supposed to have today, I will only have consumed 1457...does this matter? or is it better that I have not consumed as many as 2000? Surely if I'm not consuming so many calories I won't be putting on anymore weight and would lose some?

Some advice would be great!!!

Fiber helps keep you full...

you should be getting 25-35grams of fiber a day from your food sources.. it's not that difficult to do...

The fiber drinks do not have a magical property to "clean you out" your body is self cleaning if you drink enough water and eat properly...

If you enjoy the fiber drinks - have them - but make sure you're accounting for them in your daily calories

Oh right, I have put it down in my calorie counter...I didnt feel any more full after drinking it though...which seems odd.

I was only going to have the fibre drinks for a couple of days, I'll see if it helps me in any way, if not I'll pack in the idea of having them!! They don't taste all that good :ack2:

you wouldn't spend your money on clothes you don't like... Don't spend your food calories on food you don't enjoy...budget wisely...
