So i'm in college, been gaining weight since i got here lol. I'm 215lbs and 5'10". I'd like to lose as much as possible over the next 6 months. I'll post a schedule and see if osmeone can help me out as to when and what to do. Hopefully u can find me a regiment to perfect ;) I guess thats my motivation, following something as close as i can.

My Goal
6 months, 60 pounds. Possible for a newbie? Probably not, but if i can shed off most of this disgusting fat i'd still be happy.

Oh, i think its possible. Some people would disagree but I think anything is possible as long as you really want it! I've actually got the same goal!! lol

WELCOME!!! I as well agree that anything is possible if it is wanted bad enough. Just make sure that you are doing in the healthy way. You can lose alot of weight really fast the wrong way and then gain it all back. Then when you want to lose it again, like anyone would, it tends to be like 10 times more difficult!!

Thanks for the replies, i'll start browsing the forums to see what i need to do ;).

So far i've seen to take about 1000-1500 healthy calories per day but nothing on how much i should start exercising and what to work up to.

There is no doubt you will be able to reach your goal. Make sure you have small, attainable goals along the way. I find myself just focusing on the big picture all at once, becoming disappointed and giving up. Good luck with all your endeavors!
