So for years now, if I do a push-up with my arms resonably close, a tendon in my left elbow seems to snap into place half way through the push-up. Like there is bone or matter or something that gets in the way, so as the tendon/muscle tightens, and the elbow straightens and the angles change, eventually, the tendon/muscle goes over the obstruction and snaps into place. If I increase the distance between my arms, it does not happen.
It does not hurt, but it does not feel good either.
Now that I'm using my arms more, there are certain exercises that cause this to happen. I'm not too concerned and I'll have to bring it up to the doc next time I'm in. But I'm wondering how common things like this are and how often they just go away on their own.
Any thoughts?
