Weights Stop Growth? Help

Hey i just joined as a member looks liek a great site found some cool info already.

I started training about a 2 months ago, but the last month ive jsut been goin everyday and i do tons of exercises for arms n chest, i run about a km a day aswell, adding to thins i play an hour of tennis a week and i have a full hour sports session every second day at school.

Im turning 15 this november so basicly 15 goin on 16. Im about 174 cm tall id say umm i use to be overweight thankyou atkins since den ive kept it off, kinda weird eh 4 a kid. But o well anyway to get to the point.

I ahve herd many people say that weight training constricts growth, i dont do any machines which i actually pusha gainst my body so its all basicly pullin, but still i hear this is bad, but on the other hand some ppl say its fine. I just Want Professional opions from fellow members such as you just to help me out.

I really love training with weights it makes me feel really good and i can never get enough i would hate to give it up. I also have a question if somone can tell em the quickest way to strengthen abs, i do about 50+ crunches a day, if somone can sujest if i should do more or tell me how long i shud wait for a 6 pac =)? O ye id say i heavy an ok diet aswell.

Yes, weight training improperly can be dangerouse if done at your age. I'm not saying stop all together, just take it easy. If you are moving fast, slow down. Our muscles aren't rubber bands, they are muscles that have memory, if you fly through your workout you don't give them time to remember and grow(break down proteins). About your abs.......genetics, genetics, genetics..you can have the best workout and the best diet in the world and they can't get you past the "G Word"! You know if you have the genetics for it or not. Hope this was helpful
