My friend,

You realize that even at 5 foot, your weight being 110 (that range) you are still well inside the BMI for normal? You are 13 and you are worried about your weight at that range, so I guess I have to ask if there is another reason you are looking to lose weight?

I don't know if you are male or female but the most you would need to lose to be "ideal" is 3-4 pounds. Your body type and activity level comes into play as well. I'll be more than willing to help you as would everyone but something is telling me there is more of a self-image problem than a weight one.

I went to the store today, and got a scale. And my weight is 117 exactly. I am trying to tone up my body and lose abit, not much but abit.. But I am still not so sure how to.

If you are looking to tone up, then exercise is the key (and, based on my number NOT my area to give you advice on). I really don't think at that level that cutting calories is going to do a whole lot of good.

But if you want to go that way, I suggest writing down everythign you eat..and I mean everything down to that piece of gum. After a week, look at it and see where the next week you can avoid pitfalls like soda and junk food.

Read alot of the things in the Diary area. I think you will see alot of things you are or will go through if this is what you want to do.

But seriously? 117 at 5 foot as a young kid (don't sounding demeaning, but at 35, you are a young kid). Eat healthy, play outside and have fun.

Good for you thinking about your fitness and health! When I was 13 I was 5'7 and 145lbs. I wasn't fat but I wasn't fit. I didn't pay much attention to exercise and I ate lots of junk all though high school - by the time I was 17-18 I was my heaviest weight ever. If I HAD exercised and watched what I ate back then, I'm sure it would be alot easier now. Start the healthy habit young!
