Weighted belts (not weight belts)

I am looking for a weighted belt (read: a weighted belt, not a weight belt). I am wondering if there are any weighted belts with a substantial amount of weight (20 or more lbs) that are flat enough (perhaps sand bags) that I could possibly wear them at work? I did see one website with heavy weighted belts but the weights on the belt itself were huge, and I can't use that at work.

I work in a hospital (pharmacy, not in direct patient care) and wear scrubs. My scrubs tops are pretty taught with my figure, though I could wear bigger ones if I could find something like this I could conceal under my uniforms/scrubs.

Thanks folks.

Maggie

Most people use a weighted vest, or wrist and ankle weights, or even a backpack with sand or rocks in it. It is just too hard to get enough weight in a small enough package to fit in a belt comfortably. Divers use weighted belts to help them sink, but the weights are pretty large.

Thanks to both of you.

DSW-- I do use ankle weights. I went up just last night... I've had a 5lb set (2x 2.5lbs) forever, and the other day I said to myself, 'Ah man, I forgot my ankle weights today'... but I had them on. Then I knew I needed to move up in weight, so I went to a sporting goods store for a 20lb set, but all they had was a 10lb or a 40lb set. I opted for the 10lb, and I am feeling them just a bit after wearing them all day.

Okay sorry, I am really rambling.

Maggie

One more thing... the great thing about the ankle weights for me is that I can wear them all day long and no one knows or sees them since they are concealed under my scrubs, which flare out and hide them.
