for some reason all the soccer players in my gym do quarter squats with plates under their heels :S its suppose to be good for power i think they say..
I always like the folks who load up the squat rack with about 500 pounds, put it on their shoulders and back out of the rack, and proceed to squat about 1 inch down a few times. Then they throw it back in the rack...
I saw a woman using one of the calf raise machines like a leg press - bending and pushing from the knees. It says "CALF RAISE" on it in big bold letters and has an instructional pic, and there is an actual leg press machine right next to it, but whatever...
One of my former training partners used to throw up almost every workout. He would just go outside. Chuck in the sewer drain, come back in and finish training.
