well... weight loss, man i tell you, i hate myself for eating beyond my intentions but it happens and im sick of it. im actually not happy, ever. i drink alot of carbonated beverages and i eat alot of junk food, i sweat alot too which is very annoying, i just wanna be thin. i cant get that out of my head. thin. i feel like im missing out alot on my youth and alot of my friends are favoured on the opposite sex region and im not. nothing ever happens to me. well im gonna go through this day by day, no more carbonated drinks, no more junk food fastfood and for the first week im gonna do 20 situps and 20 pushups a day and possibly do more the other:nopity: weeks to come. i just dont want this lifestyle anymore, you know the only time i somewhat get happy are when i eat, get drunk, or when i think about all great things to come in the future for a second only. feedback would be appreciated and i would be glad to return the favour and oh yes im 240lbs at the age of 20. its only gonna get better form here.

The end of your youth is YEARS away! don't panic!
Eating and feeling bad about yourself is a vicious cycle. Not only does eating a lot make you temporarily feel good, it also makes you want to sleep, so you can avoid feeling bad about yourself! Overeating has even been called an addiction by some. (personally I agree with this philosophy)
HOWEVER!!!! 20 push ups and sit ups a day isn't going to do it. You really should think about some cardiovascular exercise like walking or running, or just using a treadmill or stair machine at a gym or at home.
You also MUST take in less total calories. It's simple science. Matter cannot be created nor destroyed, so you have to destroy your fat by eliminating your calories that you eat.
Many people here, LIKE ME, strongly believe that counting your calories works great to help you keep track.
IF I assume that you are average height, 5"10, and are male (I also entered in that you are lightly active)
You'll need 2,600 to lose weight, 3,175 to maintain weight.
Click on the link to enter you actual statics.... it should help

First thing I see is the part about getting drunk. There is a ton of extra calories you don't need right there.

Second, you can do this. The exercise isn't what is going to make the different. You need to change both your diet and how you look at food. It sounds like you, like most of us, emotionally eat. I want you for one week to keep a food journal. Write EVERYTHING you eat down, that includes drinks. For you, I also suggest writing how you feel before you start eating then after. Need to find your emotional cues so you can break the cycle.

and you can still have carbonated drinks and fast food..just have to use knowledge and restraint. I drink diet coke and other diet drinks all the time. As far as fast food..it's all in your choices and moderation. Don't get that large fries, at the very least get a smaller size or share them with someone. Pretty much all fast food places have resources online to get calorie counts on the food you like.

I used to eat out when i lost most of my weight, but i would just buy the burger, not the combo. Made life cheaper also.
I notice 2 McDonalds Hambugers have less calories than 1 Big Mac, its also more filling, tastier, and seemed bigger!
KFC - i would switch pieces of chicken with people and get 2 smaller pieces (ie drum and wing), or get the snack pack as a meal.
I didn't eat out often, or a lot, but when i did i just tweaked my choices a lot.
