Weight Loss Supplements

I am a 26 year old female and to be at my ideal weight I have 8 to 10 pounds to lose. I put myself on a really healthy diet and exercise 4 to 5 times a week. This usually works very well for me.
however, I was wondering if taking weight loss supplements could help. If so which ons would you recommend? Thanks a lot!

Its hard for me to ever recommend a supplement for weight loss because most don't work, and most people just need a little cleaner diet.

As far as 'ideal weight' goes, its rubbish. If you look good naked, you're at a good weight.

Consider this...you find some pills that do help you lose weight, you take them, shed the weight....stop taking them and gain the 8-10 pounds right back.

I never took any weight loss sups because like you said i was convinced that it was pretty much useless and would just be a waste of money. Then I moved to the US from France and I was really surprised to see the extent of the market which made me reconsider. I guess you are right they probably do not help the weight loss. By ideal weight I meant the target I set for myself to achieve... everytime I try I always lose weight but I never really get all the way there

I had never tried any supplements until I tried OxyElite Pro, I read a crap load of reviews on it and it sounded pretty useful. It helps you warm up your body faster/more, and "manages" your appetite, of course, you still have to eat though, work out, and watch what you eat. Also, hydrate a lot.

Hi ericg,
I have read the benefits of OxyElite Pro.
How was your experience of using OxyElite Pro?

Pretty good actually, in 2 weeks I lost about 7 pounds. I'm actually going to weigh myself in a bit. It keeps you from being hungry, for the first two days it was time for lunch and I wasn't hungry at all ( I still ate of course, didn't want to starve myself). You sweat a lot though.

Hi Bubbles,
Try herbal supplements to lose 10 lbs as they don't have side or after effects. Bull****! Herbal supplements are FULL of side and after effects, some of which include wrecking your endocrine systems, liver, kidneys, and even death.
Do check your weight daily, Why? do you really think scale will accurately show .3 lbs lost per day? This is an unhelpful, obsessive notion

The rest of your comments were sound.

That’s not to say calcium supplements might not help you in your weight loss efforts. In one analysis, researchers found that dieting women who received 1,000 mg of calcium supplements each day lost, on average, more weight and more body fat than women taking a placebo. Although the differences in the amount of weight and fat lost by the two groups were not significant, the trend suggests there could be a relationship between calcium supplements and weight loss.
