Weight Loss Method Questions

Hello, new here, I just have one question so I will get straight to it.

So we all know of dussins of weight loss methods, good and bad. Some more extreme then others like starvation. I know starvation sounds crazy.
But what if, hypotheticly, one does that, starves themself. Only eats like a handful of rice a day and drinks only water. Say they do that for a week. Firstly Im curios what will the body go after first when there is no food in the stomach. The fat or muscle tissue?

Secondly lets say that this person trains while doing this. Not much because eating that little while training will leave you with very little energy. But anyways, the person in question trains to keep all muscles but also to develop more.

So what will be the end result if the person in question eats that little for say 1-2 weeks while training some everyday?

Is it so easy to say that the body takes the fat because there is very little or no food in the stomach and more muscles will be there because the person trained through this period? So the amount of fat will go down and the amount of muscle up. Would that really be the end result?

Lastly, the metabolism, will it really go down? Hypotheticly the person in question is still eating, less but still. So when the person in question decides to end this diet they will slowly increase their food intake.
But will you really gain more weight and fast once you start eating normally again? Normally but with healthier food.

Remember this is just hypotheticly.

Nope. Once you start eating very little calories your body will go into "starvation mode" and start storing your calories as fat to burn later. Eventually you will just keep storing the fat, and not lose weight. Starving yourself is the worst way to lose weight. Not only will you store fat your metabolism will drop to near nil.

Reduce calories to a healthy level and daily exercise is all you need to do. Get a good app on your phone to count your calories; Arise, MFP or lifesum are all good. Eat a healthy amount of calories, get a little exercise in daily, and that's how you lose weight...healthily.

Alright, thanks for the reply. And to be clear, NO I am not starving myself. But I do wanna lose weight, like 10-15kg. I started eating better and exercising more like 2 weeks ago. But one of those apps will help keep track of calorie intake so thanks for sharing those. :)

I know it's rough, and you want to see results right away, but two weeks is just too soon to be expecting major results. Stick with it; count those calories and keep exercising and you'll get there. The app will help you a lot with both of those.

Exactly Ginger. I have a friend who goes on the craziest fad diets. Just the other day she spent $200 on the dumbest 2 week cleanse that is supposed to "guarantee" she lose 20 pounds. Yea, I imagine she will lose some weight. And once this "cleanse" thing is over she'll gain it right back. She just won't listen. Even after she commented on my recent weight loss she still refuses to count her calories and exercise.
