Weight loss goal

Hello all,

I am new to this forum, and i am here to seek better advice to further advance my weightloss goals.
I am a teenager who just finished highschool and is heading of to college in september. I played football in highschool so i am no stranger to weightlifting and fitness. I played defensive line and linebacker so my coaches wanted me to have more of a stocky build. I played around the 225-230 range and am now approx235 pounds. Now that football is over i really want to get down to around 200 pounds so i can be a little bit more lean and muscular rather than stocky.
Over a ten week period i want to lose around 30-35 pounds of fat while keeping my lean mass. I figured the best way to do that was diet, cardio, and supplementation. so i developed a low carb high protein meal plan and a 2 a day cardio schedule.

Do you guys have any advice or insight into my situation, would you suggest some different methods or practices, and do you think i can pull it off

all constructive information is deeply appreciated :)

That sounds exactly how i started and then i realized once i hit around 225 i needed to start lifting weights. ( low carb high protien ) is also what i did
and it worked for me for a while but then i realized i was lacking energy when i excersied or at work. Im not really an expert on this im just saying from what ive experinced.
