Weight loss for Wedding

Hi there. Im getting married on the 6th Aug of this year and Im looking to lose about 20lbs before it. Now the problem I am stuck with is Ive just recently had an operation and Ive been told to do no intense exercise like weights, running, cycling and no gym. My diet isnt the best and Im going to improve it but just wondering if anyone could help me with some suggestions.

strictly count calories. As you are doing little exercise you will have to have quite a small deficit. Start the day with oats or muesili. They release energy slowly which reduces hunger. Eat 5-7 fist sized meals a day and don't eat 2-3 hours before sleeping. Fill your fruitbowl to the brim and as a said before...count and keep your calories to around 1800 per day

i agree - WATCH THOSE CALORIES. diet is everything when weight loss is concerned. also, drink lot's water, dont eat out - fast food or other restaurant, no junk food - snacks, potato chips, french fries, etc. eat little bread, make it whole wheat when you do. lean cuisines are pretty decent with a salad (with fat free dressing) for dinner. and i'd say try to stick to 1500 calories a day. also, stay consistant, dont skip meals and dont eat at drastically different times every day.
