Hi all I am on the last part of my weight loss goal only 14lbs to go is it normal to slow down a bit at this stage, as I seem to have hit a bit of a plateau for the time being and just wondering if this is normal.

Yes, DQ is right...it is very normal to slow down. What have you been doing to achieve your weightloss?

Im roughly in the same position as you. I dont have a specific weight to reach though as i dont know how i will look.
But im 172lb and 5ft10 which isnt bad, i'd like to get maybe to 155lb.
To break my plateau i'm going to try low carb high protein and more cardio. Should break the plateau.

Hi M2M well I heard about something called the GI Diet mentioned on TV once so decided to go down that route it's mostly eating foods that release there sugar slowly so it stops hunger pangs, also used a twist and shape stepper at first I used to do 5 Min's a day that was all I could do then did two ten minute sessions one day on and one day off.

Started eating soup as I read that it works as a appetite suppressant and it is quite filling, also tried using visualization techniques with a bit of NLP thrown in I saw my self on the scales at my target weight but added the actual sounds of getting on the scales and the feeling of having reached my goal, also started eating food more slowly. I just eat foods that don't create hunger pangs for instance.

I read that eggs if eaten before lunch can help supress appetite I suppose you could say it's become a bit of a science to me.

I have a blog that I was updating until recently but don't know if I can put the url on here or in my signature some news that has been posted here I have blogged about odd times.

Due to losing a member of my family I stopped posting on it It didn't seem so as important at the time.

To me weight loss has well become a education you could say.

I am in the same spot you are in. I have 14 more pounds to go and its been so long since i've weighed any less that this that it feels impossible. But I've heard its normal you just have to change things up a bit. So anyway, good luck!
