I NEED ONE!maybe one with similiar goals? i just entered the 140s, now i'm bustin ass to get to the 130s! i would like someone to consult with, and share all my new recipes and ideas with, someone to check in with, encourage each other, someone to be accountable to on weigh in day! i am 22, have 2 kids, and my means of weight loss thus far have been low cal recipes and dance dance revolution! anyone out there interested?

I too need someone to be accountable for because when it's morning and my time to exercise I'm needing a hand. I was 22 with my first and now have 5 and up to 167 at 5'8". I'm desperately trying to loose 30 lbs at least. I started doing the Slim in 6 and love DDR. I would be there for you if youre interested.
 
I'm new, too...to motherhood (as of Aug 1) and this site. I need to lose 70 lbs (I only gained 32 while pregnant, but I was overweight to begin with). I developed gestational diabetes during pregnancy and my doc recommended I get back to my senior year of high school weight so that I'm less likely to develop it later on in life.

As of this week, I have begun counting calories. I started walking gradually and plan to walk once a day with my daughter in the stroller. Once I get into that routine, I want to start some cardio on a machine I have in the basement. I have the Slim in 6 program also and want to start that as well.

Needless to say, up to this point I have been pretty unmotivated and need a buddy to share successes (as well as pitfalls) with.

Glad to be on the wagon with all of you!
 
I'm here too!

I'm 23 and my daughter will be 2 in October. I gained about 60 lbs during pregnancy. I'm 5'2 and 154. I'm looking to be at least 147 but October 26. When I made this goal 2 weeks ago I weighed 158! Woohoo. My ultimate goal is 120 by my birthday Jan 17! I'll be a buddy!

Maybe we could just make a club?

I had my first son 8 months ago I was heavier than usual and dieting when I got pregnant at 195lbs (I am 5'4") I actually had lost 20 lbs before conception (my alltime highest weight 216lbs) I weighed 201 lbs day JJ was born and two weeks later was at 185 lbs. He was born early so was in the hospital 18 days, seemed like I put on 15 more lbs the day he got home. In May I was at 197 June 195 and I was starving on 1800 cals. In july (after no breastfeeding) I went on a juice fast and got to 187 by july 25 but that was a 300-500 kal diet for 14 days. On august 9,2007 i joined powerhouse gym at 185lbs. since then i average 1600-1800kal and do cardio 4-5 hours a week and weight training one hour and 15 min 2 times a week now after 6 1/2 weeks I am at 178 lbs. Still this seems to be going incredibly and torturously slow. I used to gain 25lbs every winter and lose it every summer for years i weighed 155-160lbs winter and 130-135lbs summer without really doing anything extra but living. According to fitday I burn 2600 cal (avg) a day I should be losing faster. So frustrating but god what if i were to quit??????I'd be at 600 lbs in a matter of days at this rate...........
 
11 weeks post delivery

I have been struggling with my weight for years. I decided to quit smoking back in 2004 and gained the infamous 25 lbs. I was able to lose 8 lbs before I got pregnant. With my first pregnancy I gained 40 lbs and was able to get back down to pregnancy weight after 9 months. I got pregnant again and gained 35 lbs this time around. I have 6 more pounds to lose to get back to pre-pregnancy but still a total of 26 lbs since I was overweight to begin with.

I have been cutting back on calories - weight watchers - and trying to do some sort of exercise daily - walking, yoga, aerobics, fluidity, slim-n-6.

I definately need help staying focused, seeing all these before and after pics really help.

You'll find tons of help and support here!

I have about 28lbs to shed before I make my goal weight. My daughter will be 2 in October so it's been a lot of trial and error here and there.
