Weight loss and skin elasticity?

Hi everyone! I have started a diet about a moth ago and so far I have lost close to 10 pounds. However, I am starting to worry that my skin will sag if I lose weight too quickly (I have 90 pounds left to lose).

I did some research and some people suggest using shea butter to moisturize the skin and promote elasticity, while others said that weight lifting might help. What are your thoughts on the subject? Does anyone on here have some experience with this problem?

(I'm 26 if this can help)

well your young, and that will really work in your favor. I'm not sure that any cream is going to help...just like stretch marks. I dont' think losing 10lbs a month is going to cause sagging skin. I'm thinking its more for people that lose weight biggest loser style, you know, 10 lbs a week or whatever...so just keep going the way your going...you'll be fine :)

I'm currently dealing with this issue.

Age and genetics definitely play a key role. Using creams doesn't hurt, but it doesn't cure stretch marks or anything like that. Drink a lot of water to keep your skin hydrated, too.

Strength training like you're doing helps as well :)

I'm 29 and I'm looking into contour surgery. I lost weight the right way and slowly, but sometimes it's just part of the reality.
