Hi there folks

quick history

used to be 33 stone. as of last week now 18 stone.
use a diet eating 6 small meals a day. 2 of them are just a protein shake (whey protein)

going to the gym.

now this week i expected to be under 18 cos i was on it at the last weigh in.
i am still 18st but last time at the gym done about 4 - 5 sets of 10-25 reps on the weights machines. and then a mile run in 9 mins. could this expalne the weight not coming off. maybe i have added on muscle mass?

good to hear your input guys

david

Generally muscle mass increases extremely gradually. It could be water retention or any number of reasons. But, don't get discouraged. With what you are doing you should still be losing weight. Just keep it up, and the next weight in will probably be right on track. Also, just the number of the scale is not the only indicator of fat loss. Think about how your clothes fit. If they feel looser that is a good motivator.

yeah this is true.
i think i know what it was. i did not have the same "movement" that i usually had before weigh in so there for it was not a true weight. later on in the day i did. so tomorrow morning before work i will weigh myself and see. Should be on the 17 range now. planning on getting to 13 - 14 st. lost 15 St already in two years. well just under

i done the weigh in this morning. 17 St 12. so happy now. prob just weighed myself at the wrong point. Happy as larry now :D
