Weight loss after surgery.

Not really sure where to put this but this is the closest forum so here we go.

About 2 years ago I had a really bad shoulder injury where they ended up doing a bunch of work done on my shoulder. I can't even name it all. I have some tendons reattached and since all of that I have lost 25% rang of motion on my left shoulder.

Since my injury and surgery I have put on not a lot of weight but a little weight where the uniform doesn't fit like it used to and I am trying to my normal weight. My job requires me to be in good physical health and I'm trying to get back down to what I feel comfortable at. I have never been one that is good on a diet I just eat what I want and from working and my recreational activities I have kept the weight off. I would like to know what a good diet is and how to hopefully maintain a good active weight as I approach my 30's. I know that everyone says that a good is key.

I guess my question is what is a good diet to follow when you are working from 7pm till 4am and are on the go the entire time.

well my job i have alot of differnt shift on rotation and also have to be in good shape. at least should be and there are guys who sit in teh cars and truck and eat fast food. it doesn't matter what hours are pack a lunch and eat in moderations you don't have to stop at bk or mcdonalds just beacuse it early in the morning or late at night

Ooh, can't agree with 45/35/20. That sounds like a recipe for sluggishness to me. Actually, I don't recommend worrying that much about macronutrient percentages anyway. Just eat a nutrient-dense, plant-based diet, and the macros will tend to take care of themselves.

And I would recommend 6-8 small meals per day.

And as I always say, a good diet is this:

Hope this helps!
