Weekends are hard

Hi guys,

Just wanted to see if anyone else felt as I do in relation to weekends being harder than normal with eating well etc.

I find my week days are easy because they're so structured. I get up at 7AM, have breakfast, goto work for 8AM, eat lunch at 1PM, go home at 4PM, eat dinner at 6-7PM then go to the gym.

With the weekends I find that it's a lot harder, I don't tend to each proper meals and, subsequently, end up eating rubbish because I end up feeling hungry.

It's annoying because I always feel really good during the week but the weekends seem to get me down. :(

Any advice etc. would be appreciated.

When do you do your grocery shopping? Or what do you buy? Basically, if you don't buy the stuff you shouldn't eat - it's not there to tempt you...

Or just plan your meals out on the weekends as to what you will or won't eat...

I guess you should throw away the foods which are not good for you.

If you do that you don't need to worry about it. May be you can force yourself and really discipline yourself. Focus on the reward, don't you want to look nicer or be healthier?

We will have pains, but either we will have pain of regret or pain of discipline

hope this helped

How bout this for a far out idea...

make a routine for the weekends.

Yeah I realise the obvious thing to do is to make my weekends more structured. I just quite like the way that my weekends arn't as strictly structured as my work days, otherwise I just feel like I'd feel as if I never get any time to relax.

I'm not moaning, and I realise what exactly I should be doing, I just wanted to see what other people thought about the issue. It's always the way with me that I know what to do, but it's the doing it that I find difficult.

I also realise that in relation to other people here what I'm doing (weight loss wise) might seem pretty trivial, so I don't want to make it seem like I'm sounding hard done by, but obviously it's difficult for me, not anyone else.
