Weak Bladder

I drink usually at least 3 litres of water a day yet bcos of my weak bladder I just cant hold it in!

Could it be that I am not getting the benefits of it bcos it is not actually getting enough time to be utilised by the body? And doctors out there?!

Actually, no doctor needed for this one :)

If the water has gotten to your bladder, then you got the benefit from it. The water is already spent by the body when it gets to your bladder, the more you drink, the higher your hydration levels, the more you urinate.
 
i have to take 5 or 6 trips to the bathroom before falling asleep. also, i wake up in the middle of the night having to piss. i barely drink that much water at night. anybody have any suggestions to "strengthen" my bladder?
 
again i will say pelvic floor exercises will help and no they are not just for women you guys have a pelvic floor too. they really do make a hugh difference for toning the muscles controling bladder control.
 
lol ok well to first find out that your doing them right the nest time you go take a leak, sorry, try to stop the flow right away then let it go and stop again a couple of times. if you do this when you really have to go badly you'll be able to feel the muscle you need to tighten. do this throught the day (not when you have to go hehe) and try to hold it for around 30 secs, breathing normally. and thats it. enjoy. i did these and when i was prego i had to hold it for 45 min. they do work
