Water Purifiers

Tap water upsets my stomach, as I discovered yesterday. Ever since I started this journey, I have been drinking Poland Spring bottled water, but as I continue with drinking water every day, it is becoming increasingly easier for me to drink more. I actually measured 80 ounces last night, and I discovered I am drinking waaay under even on my best days. :(

I'm wondering what water filtration systems any of you would recommend? I don't want to get one that I'm going to regret investing in. I thought I'd ask the experts what their thoughts are first. ;)

If your tap water isn't all that tasty to begin with - i'm not sure how much water filtration will help - our water in the office isn't bottled water it's purified water - and it's pretty rank tasting - could be the filter hasn't been changed in years but the water out of the sink is just as bad so water filtering hasn't helped)

I have a Pur refridgerator water filter that holds 64 ounces (that I'll make sure is full when I go to bed - in the morning, I'll poour the contents into a glass pitcher in the fridge and refill the pur so I always have 128 ounces of water available.

I like the Pur - the filters last about a month of being filled twice every day (when I lived in new hampshire, the water was better, and the filters woulld last 2 months)

We have a jug with a Brita filter in, which does the job for us. It stays out on the kitchen work top in winter, and goes in the fridge in summer. The filters last a month, and it works out a lot cheaper than bottled water.
