want to lose body fat%

hello, im 17 and 160lbs, im happy with my weight but wanting to lose body fat, which is at about 17% right now. I would like to drop that to about 12-10%.
it would be hard for me to go into weight lifting so ill probably have to stick with aerobic exercises and dieting. can someone suggest me with some exercises to do so that i can cut down my body fat?

Well I think think its impossible to lose body fat percentage without lowering your weight and not building muscle. If you want to lower the % but not lose weight you have to weight train to even out the weight loss.

If your not worried about losing weight cardio is the way to go with losing the body fat percentage but you'll have to be eating right so you don't lose muscle. The best way to do it is a combination of cardio, weights, and nutrition. Its kind of the only way to keep your weight where it is atleast that I know of.

Ok, so you're currently carrying around 27lbs in bf and you want to get it down to @19lbs of bf. That's only 8 lbs of weight you need to lose.

Just do cardio and eat clean. Depending on what kind of shape you're currently in, start off with 30 mins of cardio 5x/week and work yourself up to 60 mins 5x/week.

As for your diet... I'd consider something in the neighboorhood of 1100-1300 calories, depending on how active you are and your metabolism. Also, drink lots of water and if you drink soda, stop...

You should be able to lose 8lbs of fat in 4-6 weeks. 8 weeks max, if you're eating clean and exercising.

YES YOU CAN drop BF% without weights and without losing muscle. With a calisthenics circuit you can even build a bit while lowering BF%. A good routine coupled with aerobic exercise and diet will do you just fine.
Do not drop your caloric intake drastically. Figure out what you are currently eating, and drop by 300cal every few days or week. Eat smaller meals and eat them on a regular clock. Get some food in every 3 hours. Avoid foods that raise your insulin levels.

thx for the reply guys

i was actually starting to do biking, setting a goal at 20 minutes a day 5x a week, but sorta got lazy after one week when i was sick and couldnt do it at all...

i do think i needa drink more water, but its kinda hard for me to keep track of how much calories i take in each day...chinese food is a nightmare for countin calories
