Hello,My name is chris I currently weight 180LB's and i am 15(16 in about 4 months) I am of the height of 5' 11" (180CM) I am looking to loose weight... I started this Thursday night( December 17th) I do the folowing exercise in order... 1st 30 crunches then 10 push-ups then 20 crunches then as many pushup's as i can do and then I do side crunches which consist of Making my right hand touch my right foot and then making my left hand touch my left foot 50 times. I then go outside and jog for 5 minutes...

Right now I only eat maybe a toast at breakfust or skip breakfust, i eat a full lunch and a full supper. I want to know if I will loose any noticable weight if i continue with these exercise's in 2 weeks.. And if anyone could give me some sort of diet to follow I would be glad to try it!

THANKS FOR READING!

Check out fitday dot com, i signed up there a week ago, really good tools for weight loss and fitness. To lose weight, math and physics: 3500 calories is a pound of fat. So monitor your calories in (food) and calories out (your base metabolism and any exercise), the caloric balance difference determines if you lose or gain weight. That website helps you easily track that. You can exercise all you want, but you counter that with food intake you won't lose much fat, you might even gain weight in the form of muscle which would be a good thing.

What would u suggest i eat? this morning i ate 1 hole grain bagal 250 calories with a glass of 2% milk have yer to eat lunch

Go to fitday and plug in your age, weight, activity level for your BMR, then simply enter your food you eat, activity during the day, keep your caloric balance such that you expend more calories than you consume. Eat what works for you. The greater the calories expended exceed those consumed the faster you will lose lbs.

I like whole grain cereal or an egg on toast for breakfast, sprout hummus tomato mushroom sandwich (200 calories with low cal bread) for a snack or lunch, kippered herring, hard boiled eggs, broiled shrimp, broccoli, grapefruit, Greek salad, stew i make with vegetables and a little meat and with tomato sauce, foods like that. I have lost 6 lbs now in one week, my first week, doing this, and exercising about 30 minutes a day (walking briskly, wii fitness aerobics, indoor Exercycle, etc).

Google Neaderthal diet, that is mostly what I am eating, foods our bodies are genetically programmed for-- meat, fish, lots of vegetables, occasional berries, fruit, things hunter-gatherers would eat. Agriculture with grains and such did not appear until 10,000 years ago, a very short time in genetic evolution, so is it any wonder those foods are processed much like sugar, and we have an epidemic of obesity and diabetes and aisles in the grocery store filled with cereals, processed starchy foods everywhere, chips everywhere you look, bread and buns everywhere; i am a victim of it all, going to try changing the way i eat and get back to basics. I also just bought some small rice bowls today to use as cereal and soup bowls-- geez the cereal soup bowls you buy today as dinnerware could feed a family of four they hold so much volume and thus calories.

I’m 5 ft. flat, 133lbs, 20 years old. I’m not way overweight, but I do have more chub than I did a couple years ago. For me.. it wasn’t freshman 15, it was freshman 25! I am not very athletic and I never take the time to workout. I don’t eat very healthy either. I really want to get motivated to get into a healthier lifestyle. I’m afraid that if I continue at this rate I’ll keep gaining weight. I avoid going on dates with guys because I am embarrased to tell them I have stretch marks and that I’m very self conscious. I don’t like going to the gym because I hate when people look at me working out. Like I don’t know what I’m doing and I just feel like an idiot. How do I avoid cravings??

I'm not to good at maths, or calculating exercise, I just try to walk, run and swim alot. However one thing I can tell you, is that skipping breakfast is a bad idea.
Its the most important meal of the day! Its usually best to eat breakfast within two hours of waking up, it kick starts your metabolism, and it will leave you feeling fuller for the rest of the day.
It might be a nice idea if you vary it a little? maybe have fruit, or yogurt or maybe some cereal?

Theres loads of information on this site that will help you out with this :) I'd recommend the Stickys in nutrition, they've helped me alot.

Agreed, I went many years skipping breakfast but now haven't missed it in several months now. It makes the mornings so much better with the extra energy.

I totally agree with Ella. Don't skip breakfast, it is the most important meal of the day!Make sure that you eat a nutricious breakfast though, like whole grain bread and cereal with a low-fat yoghurt for instance. That helps you feeling fuller and you can have a light lunch instead.

well ive been doing these exercises and eating breakfust every morning and im starting to feal the muscles threw my fat on my stomach i feal better already... I'll see what it looks like in 2 weeks... oh and I do my exercises before eating breakfust and i try to do a harder exercise in the morning like instead of doing 30 crunches ill do 40. Anyways thanks everyone for the advice!

Keep eating that healthy breakfast, you are on the right track!

One more tip:

Do your running exercises (cardio) before breakfast (on an empty stomach). Try doing them for at least 20 minutes. This is better for fat loss.

Do your muscle exercises (crunches, push-ups, pull-ups, etc...) after breakfast or after dinner or supper.
