want to go from 205lb to 185lb, what should i do?

hey, im around 6 feet and weigh at around 205. not all fat, good amount of muscle, but still have a stomache that i want to work off. i know the whole, eat numerous times a day thing and to run after my workout (i workout for about an hour and then run for 35 minutes usually). but im trying to slim down and dont really know what to do and how/what to eat. help? thanks!

figure out your actual caloric needs to maintain 205lbs.
then reduce your caloric intake 5-15%, and eat the right foods.
 
ok, so once i reduce my caloric intake (i calculated to be around 500 calories) what shouild i go about eating and how should i work out? more cardio, hiit or weightlifting?
 
Hopefully you mean you are cutting 500 cals a day, not just eating 500 cals a day. As far as what to eat: Go to the grocery store. Eat only items that come from the perimeter of the store. Lean meat, fish, dairy, fruits, veggies, nuts(almonds are a great choice). No processed or prepackaged garbage from the aisles or freezer cases. No sugar.

Personally I'd stick with weight training and cardio. But long sessions of cardio. Do an hour on the eliptical every other day and I guarantee the pounds will drop off you as long as you are eating right as well.
