Want to drop weight buy maintain muscle mass

Want to drop weight but maintain muscle mass.
I currently have weight on my hips and lower stomach, but when i start doing cardio 3 times a week I also drop muscle weight. I workout 5-6 times per week and eat pretty much tuna sandwiches non stop. Anyone have suggestions?

I’m 6'4'' and weigh about 177 pounds
Workout plan:
Mon: chest
Tues: legs
Wes: Back
Thurs:Bis and Tris
Fri: Chest
Sat: Shoulders
Sun: off

I also do:
Mon: Chest and Tris
Tues:Legs
Wes: Back and Bis
Thurs: Off
Fri: Chest and Tris
Sat:Shoulders
Sun: Off

I gain mass, but once I start doing cardio I burn up the muscle mass.

I usually do 30-45 mins cardio sessions that is High Intense running (just 3 times a week). I eat cheerios for breakfast, and usually eat chicken or steak for dinner, but in between i usually just eat the tuna sandwich; because it’s easy to make and go.

You dont weight much for that height so cant have all that much flab on you. You should get some quality mass before cutting.
But first of you need to start eating better.

what can i change for my eating habbits?would this work:

8am: 4 white eggs cooked, also take weight gainer.
10am: Turkey Sandwhich
12afternoon: Tuna Sandwhich
2pm: Turkey Sandwhich
3pm: Workout
5pm: Chicken Breast also protien drink
6pm: snack of some type
8pm: Full course dinner..Example: Steak, salad (No dressing), green beans.

Does that look decent or do I need to add more vegetables or fruits to my daily intake?

Fat loss is primarily a function of diet. Is there a reason you just eat tuna sandwiches? And why take a weight gainer if your looking to lose weight? I know you want to build muscle and lose body fat, but this is difficult to do at the same time. In order to gain, you have to eat above maintenance calories, in order to lose, you have to eat at a deficit. My suggestion is to pick one goal, and go for that. A few months later, re-evaluate. Hope this helps :)

Thanks BigStew. If i can ask you couple more question, how long should i do mass building before i start cutting up(6-12 months or shorter/longer?)? And wouldn't the less calories kill my muscle mass?
