Want out of this lifeless body.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and very happy to have found this forum.

I used to be a dancer, taking 4-5 classes a week, and since I quit a few years ago my body has just lost muscle and gained fat. My body feels lifeless, I have no strength and no cardio anymore. I'm 5'6 and 125 (I'm female), which is good, but my body composition is really not what I'd like it to be.

I guess my main goals are to lose some fat pooches (belly, saddlebags) and to gain muscle (size and strength). I actually like looking muscular, especially my legs and midsection. I want to feel and look in shape. I'm a student and can't afford going to the gym. I have to use my own body weight or random home items for my training. Can anyone direct me to specific threads or boards that would be helpful in my case?
 
I have a few questions to ask you jujube. How's your diet, sleep pattern and stress level? It seems that you are not as active as you use to be before. When you stop being active you also don't feel as good about yourself as you use to. Also, are you eating healthy, not perfect but healthy enough to help keep off the weight. Last but not least are you getting enough rest.

In response to your question there is a lady on youtube called Zuzana who can give you great workouts and diet tips. She also has a website called bodyrock.tv The workouts are free and does not require a gym!
