Walking/Running/Exercising late at night - good/bad ... thoughts?

Hi all. I'm 23,weigh 80kg and I'm around 185cm. Looking to tone up and lose a bit of weight.

I work back late at work most nights and don't have time in the morning to sacrifice for exercise as i prefer to sleep in and run out the door. When I get home I normally have a small meal and a banana and drink water about .5 - 1 hr before leaving for a run. Before running I do push-ups, 3 sets x 10 of 15kg dumbell, use resistance bands and stretch.

I normally do a combination of walking and sprinting as I read this tricks your body into burning more calories. I do around 10km's each time and have been aiming to do this 4-5 times a week. I leave around 10:30 -11 pm and get back around 12:30pm depending on what route I pick and the intensity. I normally burn around 850 calories. When i get back home i have a protein shake before showering and going to bed.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on exercising at night - and if other people also run at night and what their habits are?

Let me know if you have any suggestions for me too

Matt
