*Walking Club* ~Pedometer Buddies~

* All you need is a Pedometer.

I have a Walking Advantage SportLine ($19.99) at Academy Sports and Outdoors.

If you want to start this fitness routine and cannot get a pedometer at this time, that's okay!

Just list how long you walked.

* You can list total of steps/miles per day here

* You can list strictly steps/miles when you get out for your walks.

Let's Walk ourselves right into better Fitness and Walk Away the Pounds!
 
Here is my Walking History So Far:

5-7-09- Steps: 1,190 Steps (brisk Walk with ZuZu my dog)
.9 ml - 12 Mins.

5-17-09- 4.1 Miles (Briskly) 65 Mins.

5-18-09- 4.2 Miles (Briskly) 69 Mins.

5-21-09- 1.5 Miles (Briskly) 30 Mins.

5-22-09- 2.5 Miles (Briskly) 45 Mins.

5-23-09- 1.5 Miles (Briskly) 30 Mins.

5-25-09 (Memorial Day) (Briskly) 4 Miles 60 mins.
 
Count me in. This is just like old times Stacy... My pedometer seems to sometimes rob me these days. I have a brilliant gym quality treadmill - - Tunturi T60 which tells me how far I have done and I often base my exercise walks on the output from that. I trust the treadmill more than the pedometer because it is a much more sophisticated piece of equipment. Most days I do 7.25 miles on the treadmill at 4.0mph as a major part of my walking.

Ouch..For some reason I got blisters tonight.

Might be time for new walking shoes.

The cool bath was painful at first but then felt great.

It was one humid/sticky walking night..*yuck!!*

Flying bugs were everywhere as well...:ack2:

It's been a busy day!

A highlight:

Man, I picked out a good watermelon and cantaloupe today.
They are so juicy, ripe, and sweet! YUMMY!
 
Sheewww..Cooling off..

Just did 3 ml (walkin' briskly) * 60 mins.

I took the path w/lots of inclines/hills..

I'm tired and ready for a shower..lol..

Saturday Fitness: * 52 mins. * 4.5 ml Brisk Walk
Ms. Debbie and I did well.

I also had * 30 mins. of swimming. (was there longer of course but swam a total of 30 mins.)
