Ok... Morning 1

Mood- Pretty good!

At least it is a beautiful day! Going to do fruit flush for the next 3 days to get going... Today just protein shakes and raw veg, and fruit fruit fruit for the next 2... supposed to be good for leveling blood sugar levels with small meals every 2 hours... looking forward to cleaning all the processed stuff out... Got bad things out of the house *sniff... bye bye...* Ready to reset WII Fit for fresh start and not to dwell on so many skipped days... the past is past, right? Continuing 2 mile walks in the morning... I know what my problem is... not sweets... never had a problem with those.. Too much booze, I love my wine and cocktails... and I am a carb addict... spaghetti is my crack... Those 2 things will be the highest hurdles to jump... Ok! Lets go!

Got thru the day with minimal hiccups... I did my walk, I stuck to my meal schedule, and I didn't get too awfully cranky... 1 down... time to watch the olympics and think athletic thoughts... nighty night... at least when I sleep I am not hungry... *no pizza dreams tonight pleeeaase!*

Mood - Tired but good!

Yay! I lost 3 lbs! :jump: I know that it is just water weight from my flush yesterday, but this is what I needed to get up and get out on my walk this morning despite being tired... Geez it sucks when your entire day's mood revolves around what the scale says... How to change that? Don't know... it is so ingrained in me from childhood that I don't know if it will... Banana for breaky and off for a walk... another beautiful day helps the mood too... need that vitamin D!

I love wine too! So yummy. But oh so bad. Have you seen any Weight Watchers wine in shops in your area? I know in England we have low calorie wine that's much less bad for you :) Also feel you with the pasta. I could live on bottles of Rose and pasta!

Anyway, good luck and I'll be keeping an eye on your diary!

Well... stuck to it today, walk and all... just got sooo tired toward the end... It is kicking in... some cravings... Why are there so many food commercials on tv? Do the Olympic athletes actually eat all that McDonald's stuff? I noticed as I was waiting for dinner time that even the cartoon meals on The Simpsons were looking appetizing.. Ha!

Mood- pretty good but tiredererer...

Lost 1 more lb... Yay! Just had my green tea & fruit for breaky and off for a walk.. Sun out again today... Hoping the NW rain will hold off a bit longer.. Weather has been so nice lately which is good.. fog and rain too much an excuse to cuddle up with comfort food and movie.. Geez I need a Red Bull right now!!! No! No! No!

Added some wii yoga after my walk... Does anyone else hate downward facing dog as much as I do??? Kinda headachey mid day today... Looking forward to adding some grains and dairy tomorrow... "Dave's Killer Bread" is the best whole grain bread EVER!!! Decided to add my measurements to track those as well.. not sure what my goals as far as those are...C-49" W-46" H-47" OMG!!! Where did my waist go??? It must be in there somewhere!!! Maybe it was a mistake to do that... :ack2: I have always been an hourglass... Guess it got filled up with too many Maragaritas...

Mood OK

Gained a tiny bit, but if it is not in half or full lbs, I don't count it... Had a couple drinks last nite~ Vodka Tonic (supposed to be less calories than wine)... mmm... sooo relaxing... and yes, worth it! Dinner was a little salty, so I figure that is what the little weight gain must be.. back out for walk today, and then what? Dunno, still awfully tired, but I know that it will take some time adjusting to such a sudden drop in calories...

Mood- better

Yesterday was a complete wash after fruit breakfast... WE were talking about some outdoor projects, and my guy made a remark about me finishing projects that I start and I kinda freaked out... Tired + hungry = Mooooody! Ditched the walk and pouted for awhile, but finally pulled myself together enough to dig in the dirt for a bit... Too many cocktails after not drinking much for a few days = NOT a good morning... Breakfast of hot broth, fresh vegies and soba makes me feel a bit better... gaining a smidge more back does not... Not sure what I am up for today... maybe I will dig in the dirt some more..

The list is long... I have to admit that my self image and confidence is higher on the list than health.. I feel like people, even my family and friends who love me, see the fat girl first, and who I am second... I hate that more than anything.. No, although I have been in touch with some friends from high school lately, and even though I would love to see them, if I was given the chance today, I wouldn't.. I am a chef, so I am around good food all the time... Historically I work late, party hard, eat late, and eat a lot at usually the only meal of the day...Breaking that routine is gonna be so tough, cause I like everything about it except for the results it has for me...

Struggled with it most of my life.. I wasn't a fat kid, but my dad's side of the family were all huge, and my mom's side of the family were swizzle sticks.. My grandmother tortured me with exercise every time I was there and sent me "husky kid" clothes for Christmas.. even though I wasn't overweight, it ingrained in me that that was what I was seen as, and it was something to be ashamed of...

Yes, a few times... maintenance is essential.. this last 60 crept on so slow I barely noticed it, then the other day I looked in the mirror and asked "who the hell is that???"

Lack of routine... so busy I just jammed anything in my mouth I could get ahold of... lots of drinking... and that leads to a hunger that makes you eat anything in sight, and things you normally would never eat...

I HATE exercise! I am so tired from work all I want to do is sit when I am at home... How do you learn to like it when you are so tired all the time.. gives me headaches too...

Mood- irra-frickin-tated

aaach.. so exasperated... even tho I didn't exercise yesterday, I still stuck to my healthier eating... ate lunch really late so I didn't eat dinner... I was actually not that hungry... THAT doesn't happen very often... and this morning dadadadaddadaaa + 1+ lbs... whaaaaat? phhoooey :toetap05: hmmmm... hungry!!! YUMMM! A protien shake? really? that's exactly what I wanted to eat today! Thanks! *sigh* YICK!

Mood-Ok

Woke up to dog barf, so at least I am not hungry right now! Started raining today.. kinda cold and drizzly... Don't wanna go out there walking... Maybe wii? I have been trying to find my belly dancing work out dvd.. that would be great today, but I can't find it or my yoga one either... what to do what to do? Have some green tea and think about it...

Just started adding up my calories for the past few days... I don't think I am getting enough... I really thought I was...

Ok... so I am having some consternation about the whole calorie thing.. If I eat good things.... and I am eating like every 2-3 hours, I am having a hard time getting over 1000... I would have to be eating all the time to get enough... what should I put in there that has calories that is still good for me? *sigh* not sure... time for some more research... of course i COULD solve the whole problem with a cheeseburger :) no, but really... I am good at eating A LOT, and I am good at eating a little... not so good at finding the balance in between...

Have a piece of fruit! :)
Dates/ nuts/ dried fruits are really good. and a handful could give you those last 200 calories you need.
Or try celery sticks/apples/ with peanut butter.

Not weighing this morning because I had dinner way late last night... It was 6 and i was gettin hungry, and my guy was like... I got this great dinner planned, but its gonna take a couple hours... Uh oh... Shall I explain my diet plan 1 more time??? Ate a pear and some reduced fat string cheese to tide me over, but then... duuuun da dun da... the wine appeared... Crap! Yes, I mixed it down with Hansen's diet grapefruit soda... Actually really good... Uh oh! TOO good.. umm 2 bottles later Ha ha... dinner was delish though! Needless to say, I am NOT weighing in this morning!

Should I weigh every day? I keep the log on my wii... It sucks how what the scale says determines my mood for the rest of the day... Even if I have lost weight that cutesy tootsie little wii fit voice tells me "that's obese!" Uh yaaaa! I know! Shut up! Have started muting the body test part... lol!

Had a big breaky too... First one in a week that wasn't fruit or protien shake... Time to get back on track!

LOL you're so lucky that you man cooks... mine is one of the sweetest, most laid-back guys EVER, but he's also completely happy eating whatever I make...even if it's ramen or bread and a slice of cheese! Doesn't exactly keep me motivated to expand my culinary repertoire lol :)

Personally I weigh everyday just because I like to see how the previous day's actions affect me in the morning ... but try to stick to an "official" weigh-in day every week.. and don't take the daily fluctuations to heart or you'll go crazy the minute you retain water or some such. And yeah, nibble on some string cheese or have a fresh fruit inbetween meals to keep your hunger at bay, and to get those minimum 1200 calories... be careful of dried fruit and trail mix and all that though, the amount of sugar in those little bags is mind-boggling!!

Hiya Vino. You are so lucky to have a guy who cooks! Mine is just like Chantelle's - more than happy to eat whatever I put in front of him. Still, after nearly 30 years of marriage, it's nice to hear his "Thanks, sweetheart, that was lovely" every night.

I also weigh every day. It really helps me to stay on track....or should I say it did, when I last stayed on track...

I firmly believe that tracking every morsel of food helps, so I think you are well on the way to success.
