I eat 3 turkey sandwiches a day and sometimes soup. I use a stepper at medium resistance for 30 minutes a day, and i work at UPS where i work 6-8 hour days, 5 days a week, lifting packages 10-70lbs every 5 or so seconds. I went from 240lbs to 190 in 3 months when i first started.

My problem now is that i have been stuck at 190lbs for the past 6 months. I am in decent shape but still have a bit of a belly. I have stepped up my diet and exorcise and nothing is working. With my diet alone, websites have stated that i should have been at 175 within 2 months.

I consume no more than 1200 calories a day, and my stepper says I lose 200 calories in my 30 minute workout, and a website says i lose 100 calories an hour at work. I am male.

Any ideas?

Based on what you say, your body has probably gotten used to the stepping exercises, so perhaps a change of routine would help? Still a but puzzeling, on a 1200 cal diet you should go on losing weight regardless.

Try eating a little more, but make sure it is lean protein, fruits, vegetables, and whole grain. You may be getting so much activity that your body is trying to conserve.

You are not eating enough calories and probably you have lost muscle tissue and not only fat. If you don't feed your body and go below 1500 calories for males (this is an average number as there are other factors) your body enters on starvation mode and starts to consume slowly part of it tissue. Less muscle means slow metabolism. That is why you are not losing weight, you need to increase your protein intake to a 1 gram per pound/weight.

Eating only turkey sandwiches is not good. If its turkey loaf you are prob getting a lot of sodium in each meal as well. You gotta mix up your diet if possible.
