Veggies and the dreaded DIP!

I've always enjoyed eating carrots and broccoli- IF I can dip them in some great creamy vegetable dip! Otherwise, there is no real appeal there.

What are some alternatives to high calorie dips out there for veggies? How does everyone fit some green into their diets?

Any good recipes? Suggestions?
The only vegetable I could eat for days on days plain raw would probably be yummy red peppers. :)

Ranch is actually too bad. Especially if you give yourself a lot of veggies and just a tablespoon or two of ranch. You could also try the Ranch Light and whatnot. That's the only dressing that I find tasty (that I've actually tried anyways) but I'm sure there are many other things out there.

You can try the fat free dressings. Also you can try Waldon Farms. Their products are fat free & calorie free. Not Bad

I'm not sure how good of an idea this is but... Do you make your own dips? I have used fat free sour cream (or lowfat) and dip mix. its tastes good!

Humus is great.. home made its even healthier. Its main ingredients are chickpeas and garlic... and then oil. which is the not so good part.

Homous! Its delicious... and not too bad if you have a fat free one i think...

I love hummus - a 2 tbs serving (which is good for a big handful of celery sticks) is only about 30 calories or so and has a lot of fiber.

The commerical hummus is really good, and comes in great flavors, like lemon, or garlic.. It's also easy to make- just whiz up in the food processer a can of chic peas, garlic, and lemon juice...
