Vegetarian weight loss

Hi

someone has recommended the eontu diet to me and it looks great but I was just wondering if anyone else had used it, especially any vegetarians? I don't want to attend meetings or anything like that and I don't really have time to be preparing juices etc. so this one sounds ideal and I also want to be able to eat tasty food! I know this may seem like a lot to ask from someone who wants to actually lose weight lol, but this eontu diet was suggested and it would be great to get any feedback from people who have used it and kept the weight off.

Thanks

Hello, I am doing the Eontu diet and am finding it fantastic! I have lost a stone already and am thrilled with how things are going. The food tastes delicious - something that is really important to me. It is prepared in France by Chefs du Rhone and is low in calories but high in protein so it fills you up and allows you to lose weight without starving yourself. They also allow you to have treats. I really recommend the Dark Chocolate truffle bars - they are divine! Most of the food is certified for vegetarians and all is nutritionally complete. I have been adding vegetables with my diet just because I love my veggies so much. I steam them and add them as a side although this is not necessary - purely my choice. The meals are very easy to prepare -either in the microwave or on the hob. You simply add water then microwave or heat on the hob. Then you leave to stand for a few minutes before tucking in ... easy! I find it great as I work long hours and when I get in from work I just want to eat asap so I can be sitting down to my meal within fifteen minutes and that is with my side of steamed veg! You don't have to attend any groups or anything like that. You can download examples of their meal plans from their website and order from there too. They work on four meals a day so you really can lose weight and eat well all at the same time. Good Luck with it!

Thanks for that SJJ. I am definitely going to give it a try. I have already tried the 5:2 diet and it didn't really work for me as it was too much like confusing fasting diet! I need some discipline in my diet plan otherwise on the five days I am meant to eat sensibly I just ate what I wanted. I think Eontu could really be the one for me as it has plans I could stick too and I have also heard that high protein diets are good for fast weight loss. I have looked at their website and am just deciding whether to do the VLCD or one of the other weight loss plans they have. I really like the way they have such a great range of foods too and they do look delicious! They look so different from other diet products and it is so difficult usually finding diet food for vegetarians so this makes a pleasant change. I'm going to order a diet pack tomorrow. I will let you know how I am getting on with the diet plan. thanks for the headsup!

Hi SJJ don't know if you still come on here hun, but wanted to let you know that I am using Eontu products and have lost 2 stone!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for giving me a second opinion as it is paying off. :)

I am struggling to find a diet that works for me...just want to lose about 15 pounds by June...any suggestions? Which diet is better for you and better for weight loss???

I'm vegetarian, but I can't really compare it to a non-veg diet because I've been a vegetarian my entire life. I think that in a lot of ways it forces you to make healthier lifestyle choices for obvious reasons. But, I think it wouldn't help if you didn't also take into account how much and what kinds of things you eat throughout the day. I mean, you can still be a vegetarian and eat a lot of sugar, which is definitely not good.

I haven't heard of this diet. It looks to me like a restricted calorie diet with meal replacement options. Don't know if this works or not!!!

I am a very happy vegetarian. It is very easy for vegeterians to stay thin. I am one of that kind. Although I depend on raw veggies and fruits more than the cooked ones :)
