Vegatable stuffed flank steak

Ok, i'm only 17 but i love cooking so stick with me here. So i was in the kitchen and i had a bunch of vegatables and a flank steak so this is what i came up with.

1 Flank steak
1 Green pepper(or any other pepper of your choice)
1 Onion
2 Cloves of garlic
2 peices of bacon(turky bacon works great, but treat yourself :))
About 2 to 3 slices of provalone
Papperika(season to taste)
Salt and pepper(season to taste)
And a basil(same as^)

Ok, this recipe will also work with pork roast and even some round steak.

Start off with butterlying your flank steak then pounding it out with the round side of a vegatable can or a rubber hammer works fine too. Then, season with the spices above and you can also throw in some of your favorite spices as well. Secondly, you're going to want to slice your pepper into thin slices and dice your onion and garlic(Keep in mind you won't use all these vegetables, so save some for later sautes). After you have done your vegetables, heat your skillet up and use about 2 tbs of olive oil. Wait untill it gets good and hot and throw your peppers in first, then your onions, and lastly your garlic(i've learned that garlic burns quick and tastes bitter if you cook it for to long). Use a seperate pan for your bacon and save all the flavor in the other saute pan! It's very important in my opinion. Once you finished with your sautes, put it in the butterflied flank steak with the provalone cheese and bacon and roll it up. I've found it holds together best skewering sort of in a stitching motion(horizontally, not vertically.) Coat the rolled up flank steak in flour(wheat or white) and then put that flank on the pan with all the yummy flavors that the sautes left and cook it until golden brown(don't cook all the way through). Once you're finished with browning, put it in the oven and 350 until prefered doneness. Then, enjoy

Maybe I'll try this recipe. I don't see anything weird with it's ingredients. :yelrotflmao:
