I am having a really shitty day.

I have never felt fatter than I do today. I hate it. I am miserable.

And on top of that I feel like I am definitely coming down with a cold and am miserable with that, too -- but haven't signed up for new medical insurance yet - STUPID ME! So my head is killing me and I feel like a cow.

I just sorta want to cry I feel so horrible about myself and stuff right now and I'm stuck at work =( .

Stop focusing on what you don't want. It's counterproductive in most cases. If you don't feel driven or compelled, you're not focusing on the right things.

Perception is a powerful factor.

How old are you?

If you wanted to start your own business b/c you were passionately sick and tired of working for someone else and disliked your job, would you:

a) Focus on this intense negativity you feel towards your current job to the point you feel sick

or

b) Focus on the great freedoms and personal accomplishment that can come from excelling with your own business. Building something out of nothing. What it would mean for you personally.

My point is, we always have a choice. Every moment of every day there is a choice. This is a concept many take for granted but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Said choice can be as simple as what you decide to focus on.

For some, focusing on the things they don't want empowers them. For others, it ruins them.

In my time interacting with people on this level, the vast majority have excelled by focusing on the things they want rather than the things they don't want.

Finding ways to attach mass amounts of pleasure to what you want and mass amounts of pain to the idea of NOT acheiving what you want is a pretty profound ideology that people tend to overlook because they're too busy worrying about the pain of their current situation.
