Used Nordic Track Pro--Adjustment?

Dear Folks,

I have an older Nordic Track Pro that I purchased used.

After collecting dust, I'm interesting in developing an exercise routine with it.

However, I've noticed that the strap that adjusts the tension on the wheel doesn't seem to hold its setting.

When I adjust it and tighten the strap, after a few "steps" in the workout, the strap goes loose and the tension disappears.

Any ideas how to remedy this?

thanks

Um...tredmill? If so could you provide a picture so I can see. I have a nordic track as well.

Nordic Track Pro

As I review prior messages, it's not a treadmill, per se.

It's the cross country ski simulator, with wooden skis that work against a wheel.

The belt applies tension to the wheel, but as noted above, the belt does not hold.

Afraid I don't have any pictures.

Hope this helps :)

Threaded wrong!

You have the canvas belt threaded incorrectly... (I believe)
If you find the manual, it shows the proper threading
method. Once you do that, you should be good to go!
