Upright rows.

Hey guys I know there is another topic on this but my question is a bit different. Sometimes when I do standing rows I get this pop feeling in my right elbow. It doesnt hurt but it worries me. Anyone know why this is and what I can do to stop it or if I should stop Upright rows all together.

i don't like the upright rows because of the stress on my shoulders and sometimes wrists.
as i recall, it puts the rotator cuffs in a hinky position that opens them up for potential injury.

if its a joint popping, no big deal, though it probably means you're not properly warmed up (upright rows should come late in your routine).

if there's any pain, stop, and evaluate your form. if the form is good but it still hurts, upright rows probably aren't a good exercise for you.

Hey thanks for the speedy reply guys. I dont feel any pain or stress in my shoulders and when I do my delt exercises they are one of the last things I hit in my routine.

i do upright rows because it's pretty much the only heavy compound exercise i can properly do for my lateral delts.

There is always the dumbbell raises, but i found those to be only "warming up" my delts, not really working them out to the burn. So now I do a set of dumbbell raise and do 2 sets of heavy upright rows and my delts are jacked!! yeeehawww

I have my hands centered on my thighs, how wide/narrow is this. I like to use standing rows for my delts mainly is this to wide/narrow?
