i've picked up a virus these past few days (definitely not the flu) and not feeling too chipper. thought it was gone yesterday, but i'll give it one more day to make sure before i do more exercise than merely moving around the homestead. i was considering going off my intermittent fasting and having some 3-meal days, but then i thought about how my body might react. knowing what i know now, it would seem to me that when i'm run down, putting more food into my body would be more of a stress than the extra nutrition i might gain.

anyone else have a theory on this? what do you do when sick?

i remember the saying "starve a fever & feed a cold", but frankly i've never really understood that one.

You know your body better than anyone else, and you have to do what you know makes you feel best! If intermittent fasting or eating three square meals is not working for you could try not eating. Nine time out of ten you got sick because of the food that you put into your body. If you put primarily processed and packaged foods, Animal products (meat and diary), and NOT ENOUGH FRUITS AND VEGGIES into your body you will get sick. You getting sick is your body's way of telling you that you need to reconsider the foods you have been putting into your body! Lol The saying should go "Starve both a Fever & a Cold Lol.

So To answer your question, when i get sick (I have not been sick or so much as had a Cold/Flu in 4 years with understanding this knowledge) I do not eat, I just drink Warm Boiled Water with Cucumber!
