? Hello ~

I stepped on the scale several weeks ago and to my surprise I was 162 pounds! This has been the highest I've ever reached before. Since then, I've gotten more insecure than I already am and am too scared to step on the scale again. I am 5"2'. The lowest I have ever been before was 110 pounds but gained the weight back a year after and additional weight the next 2 years to what I am now. I've never imagined myself this heavy and am constantly being told that I've gained weight. Stepping on that scale has opened my eyes, I need to step it up and lose weight again. I've failed numerous times this year, starting from January. My New Years Resolution was to gain self-confidence and I was going to do this by losing weight, but then of course failed in my first attempt, second, third, and fourth. I am determined this time and am in need of your support and motivation. My goal is to lose 2-3 pounds a week until I reach my main goal of 120 pounds. But as of now I am more focused on squeezing that 2-3 pounds every week until I reach the big picture. I will be logging what I eat everyday, my exercise, and weight and take measurements during Fridays of the week. I hope this becomes a successful journey and that you're here with me! I will also try to support other journey's, so feel free to post your journey links below!

Weight - 158.3
Waist - 34 in.
Hip - 37 in.
Wrist - 7 in.
Forearm - 10 in.

Day 1

It's 1:46 AM and I haven't done anything exercise and food related yet but I will edit this post later. I am very motivated at this point, as usual since it's only day 1. I just hope that I will keep on going. By next Friday, I should be 160 pounds or 159 pounds. But I'm not entirely sure since I haven't stepped on the scale since a few weeks ago. I'll be sure to check when I wake up though so that I'll have my actual weight down. I downloaded a 5k training app. I'll be following it for the next 8 weeks in hopes of completing all the workouts. I'm not joining a 5k though, I'm just doing it for a workout plan.

EDIT: I checked my weight as soon as I woke up and I currently weight 158.3 pounds. It's better than I expected; I thought I would've gained more pounds. I woke up too late to eat breakfast but for lunch I had rice, chicken, and noodles. Unfortunately, I couldn't control myself and ate 3 cones of ice cream. I am so disappointed but I need to forgive myself and prevent myself from making the mistake again. I will be doing week 1, day 1 of the 5k workout today.

Unfortunately, I didn't exercise today. I had a java chip frappucino from Starbucks and 2 hot dogs in a bun for dinner.

you don't need to join a 5k race, just complete the program and run that 5k yourself.
Hope you will find the running as pleasant and addictive as I have!
 
Day 2

Today, I ate 1 1/2 sunny-side eggs and rice for brunch since I woke up late for breakfast. Then, had a venti java chip frappucino with peppermint syrup between lunch and dinner. For dinner, I ate lomein, asparagus, and 2 small pieces of beef. Afterwards, I ate 2 pieces of this Filipino desert and Cadbury chocolate. I haven't exercised. I was supposed to yesterday and today but I keep on procrastinating. I really have to get myself together.
 
Day 3

I promise I'm going to run to today! I woke up late again and had brunch which was some pita chips and milk. Then, I ate 2 hot dogs in a bun, drank coffee afterwards, and drank 3 bottles of Bio Salud. For dinner I ate fish with rice. Today has been good. I didn't eat as much as the other 2 days.
