Well dads just brang home a whole heap of junk food hoping i will eat them, which i wont. I promise. But the only good thing that looked "healthy", well i thought were "Uncle Tobys yoghurt topps muesli bar". I had one, tasted alright. Went for a 30 minute jog/run and just had another. I just looked up for a bit of insight and apparently they are high in sugar and not really good for you. Ugh i feel quilty again and let down. What does everyone think about them?

1 bar = 570KJ = which converts to 135 calories (give or take)
Protein 2.1
Fat 5
saturated fat 2.7
carbs 19.7
sugar 9.4
fiber 1.6

Thy are low calorie - but they really don't give you anything for those calories... Are they healthy? Not really... Will they kill you? not really...

If you like them - enjoy them - in reasonable quantities and keep track of those calories...

They are low calorie (135 cal) and are good for a snack.

A BETTER option would be 1 tbsp Rolled oats w/ 2 tbsp low fat vanilla yoghurt, you will get that crunchyness that you get from the muesli bar without all the sugar.

Or if you need something to chew/crunch on maybe carrot sticks with light cream cheese or hommus?

Just because they are there does not mean you have to eat them.
