Uncle Sonny in the house

Hello all!!
Uncle Sonny here and I'm looking for some advice. I'm currently 47 years old and have allowed myself to get out of shape. At 6'4" and around 235 lbs I dont cosider my self a slob but it's not the greatest looking 235 on a tall man. My diet stinks so I know I need to correct that but as far as my choice of excercise is were I need some input. I've always been a good athlete and have all the tools needed physically to get my self back into shape. Going to the gym on a regular basis just doesn't work for me. Time constraints being the biggest obstacle although a couple times a week I could probably swing. What I am thinking of making my primary workout is the heavy bag. I have a cheap bag ( I will upgrade ONLY if I can stick to my workouts ) wraps, gloves and jump rope and am looking for some good advice on some routines. My goals is dropping around 20 - 25 lbs and to simply look and feel better. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
