Hi all, :seeya:

I'm back on the forum after a time away... ashamed to say not only did I stop losing weight I've put it back on and added a few extra, and have now, for the first time in my life, topped 200lbs, weighing in at 201.6. Easily the heaviest I have ever been!

Thats the bad news. The good news is, after a while of building myself up for this I feel very motivated and ready to lose it... and feel healthier again. As I actually feel sluggish and unfit and horrible now. Ugh.

Sooooo, 2011 will be my year. (Thinks positive ;)) :hurray:

Today weighing in at 201.6... wish me luck guys! I'll be around in the challenge threads and checking peoples diaries etc, to try to keep on track and offer support to fellow slimmers lol x

Good luck Tutti and thanks for the motivation on my diary! I will been checking in see how you are doing and any motivation i can! :waving:

Thanks guys.

Day 1 went well... Special K with skimmed milk for breakfast, a rice sachet for lunch, and snacks of a packet of walkers baked and a mug of horlics. Dinner was a (smaller than usual!) plate of veggies with a small pile of boiled potatoes.

Not sure of the content for dinner but all the rest came to 786cals and 7.2g fat, so I'm sure dinner didn't push the total up too far! :Angel_anim:

Now just got 100s more days to get through ;) x

Hey Tutti, hope you have a good day! Ive felt good today and a little bit proud inside for resisting naughty foods. Although yesterday was a wipeout lol :)

Hi guys, thanks for stopping by.

Ashley yeh I do feel quite proud as I've done quite well - especially considering the tempting naughty food thats around... chocs and biscuits from over Christmas and choc gateaux in the fridge(!!) that need eating up!! Haha I need OH to eat them and take them from my sight. :)

Well today is day 4 - stepped on the scale today (I find this hard to resist!) and have lost .6 of a lb, taking me down to an even 201.0lbs. Not a great result but it's only been 3 days so I guess I am a little impatient ;) will persevere with what I'm doing and wont weigh again until Sunday when it's been a week. But at least I know the numbers are going down, albeit slowly. ;)

Have a good day all! I am not tucking into my delicious (or not) bowl of special k with banana. :) xx

Slow and steady wins the race, right?? There's no time limit to weight loss, as long as we're moving down we're making progress!

Oh, and I think I will have to do a little googling to decipher your menu, haha. I love the diversity we have around here, learning about new foods is fun!

.6 of a lb in 3 days is great. If you average that out over a month you will lose 6lbs a month which is perfect weight loss. You'll soon be seeing that ladybird moving right down the ticker :)

Thanks you three. Lol laura which food that I mentioned didnt you understand??!

ecky when you put it like that, yes I suppose it is ok progress :) and happychubbette yessss it feels good, it will feel even better when i see a bit more of a result!

The last couple of days have gone quite well, I've managed to resist the naughty foods and although I had a dinner out scheduled with a friend this evening with a VERY lovely looking menu I managed to order a jacket potato with baked beans :( not the most exciting thing, but at least it's diet-friendly (I left the butter out of the equation!)

The only mistake I have made is maybe having too little for lunch - I've then found I'm really hungry after about an hour, and progressively worse through the afternoon... not productive, as I then lean towards snacking or coming home and wanting to eat the first thing I see haha. I think I've found the right balance today however. :)

One more day til the weekend...! Have a good one all x

I found that if I split my lunch up into two mini meals, like a salad and then later a frozen entree, I feel satisfied longer and don't get peckish before Dinnertime. Good luck, hope you have a good weekend.

I can't answer that question well because I'm on my phone and can't scroll up to cite your entries, haha. Rice sachet, horlicks, and something with a g and and x in it? :)

Oh, and walkers baked!

Haha...

gateaux is a type of (very!!) naughty rich cake. In this case a chocolate one!

Walkers is a brand of crisps (in the us "chips"!!) which I think is called Lays in the US. They have a range of "baked" ones which are about 1/4 of the fat and not so many cals... these are a lifesaver for me!!

The rice sachet is literally a sachet of flavoured rice, which is dried and you cook in water :) I like foods like that as I can see the exact contents and it's not to sinful but tasty. :)

Thanks kaplooie and happy chubette... I think ive found morning and afternoon snacks that are more filling and having a little more at lunch and I have been ok the last couple of days, so we'll see how that goes :) x

Good morning happy campers :)

Today is my first "official" weigh-in as week 1 is now complete - total loss of 3.2lbs for the first week, bringing me down to 198.4 :) Goodbye 200+lbs, may I never see you on my scale again lol.

So I'm happy! It's been fruit and veg overload this week! But I think that works for me. I've been consistant, and so far haven't really slipped up and had any naughty foods, but I'm sure temptation will get the better of me at some point :piggy:. I did go out for an Italian for my sisters birthday last night, but managed to not go too off the tracks... veg soup started, carbonara main with veg, but I had the bacon and cheese left out of the carbonara (hopefully cutting down on some cals and fat!) and then declined a dessert.

Hope everybody is doing well and enjoying their weekend!

Roll on week 2! x
