Trying

Hey, I am a newb here and I have been a fad dieter since highschool. If I wasn't trying the chewing gum diet or the celery diet I was trying to figit as much as possible to burn off those extra calories. Pretty much that didn't work. So now (well couple of months now) I am actually trying to do things the right way. I have cut back on fast food (almost entirely, but ya know), am going to the gym as often as i can get off my lazy bum (try for at least 3 times a week), and I am trying to drink lots of water and eating smaller portions. No suprise but i am finally losing weight. Unfortunatly its not so easy to stick to it. I guess thats why I'm here. Well that and if you have any helpful tips they would be greatly appreciated.

Today I fit into pants i haven't worn in over a year!! yay! :)

I just want to be able to keep it up, thanks!
 
good for you for cutting back on fast food... does your figure no good eating it and probably saves you some cash by not eating it... :D

Welcome to the forum- nice to see you hear- you've been doing great so far-- we're happy to supply plenty of encouragement and support -and the occassional kick in the buttkuss... :D

Feel free to start a diary to record your victories as well as your challenges -it also allows us to get to know you better...
 
Congratulations! You are on the right track! It is never too late to cutting junk foods and start eating healthy! Keep up the GREAT work!
