I am a 32 year old mother of 2. My two boys are 17 months and 3 months old. I weighed 305 after having my second son in December. I droped about 22lb of water weight when I got home and have gotten down to 265.4 as of today. I am breast feeding my youngest son so I am following the Weight Watchers breast feeding points plan. I go to the gym 3 days a week and walk 5-6 days a week for about 40 minutes. I want to get down to 145lb. I have been overweight most of my life. I lost 80lb in high school getting down to 145lb but put it back on and then some when I started going to college. I did it by eating 800 calories a day and exercising like crazy. I did not do it the right way and never learned how to eat properly. I am trying to teach myself now so I can help my boys learn too. If anyone out there is looking to lose close to the same amount of weight and would like to help encourage eachother I would be interested.

Welcome to the community. It certainly sounds like you're on the right track and congrats with the babies. :)

When you run into hurdles/obstacles, which is inevitable, remember that this place. There are a lot of members who have walked the walk or know how to handle said obstacles.... Planning for setbacks and how you'll handle them is just as critical as how you eat, IMO.

Best to you.

welcome, I too was/am in a very similar situation as me, my heaviest weight was 302, I am a female and only 20 years old, I was sick of just being fat, so about 8 months ago I decided to change my life around, I still struggle every day, I have the excerise down patt, its my eating still though that I struggle with daily, but for me its still one day at a time, good luck on the journey and hope to read future posts, we can do this together:)
