Trying to go for 2lbs a week

I've been dieting for a over a year now and I used to weigh 220-225 lbs, now I weigh 160-165 lbs. That's about a pound a week. It's worked out pretty well. I usually bike (stationary) about 13 miles 5 times a week.

The thing is, I'm tired of 1 lb a week and I want to go a little higher, 2 lbs a week. I want to try to lose 15-20 lbs over the summer. Can someone please give me some strategies on losing 2 lbs a week?

(15 years old, 160-165lbs, 5'8")

And yes, part of it is for a girl, but she already likes me :p

That's sounds great dude. I would just stay the course it's better to do it right. Afterall, she already likes you :)

But if you really want to lose it stop drinking soda, eating junk food etc and probably do some weight training to build lean muscle.

Well, I don't drink soda, and junkfood is rare on my diet now...but I have some problems with the weight thing.

I have a small weight bench in my basement with about 80 pounds all together. I bench 15-20 reps of the 80 5 times a week. The chest area is probably the last I'm worried about right now 'cause I got this condition from my dad that makes my chest have more liquid than it should. But should I try to do better?

I wouldn't bench 5 times a week but i train more intense. If you want to tone up you need to train harder. IE you have to work for the set.

Simple answer to losing more weight is cut more calories but looking at what you done i believe your doing fine.

However, losing that much weight i would believe you lost a good bit of muscle mass in the process. So you should be doing some resistence training, 3 times a week is plenty. Every second day. You can use weights or your own body weight.

Pushups, Dips, Crunchs, Chinups, Lunges, etc

If your have dumbells, 80 pounds is also a good amount of weight for a lot of excerisies.
