Trying to get my body fat % low

Hey I'm 17. 6'1 and about 160 lbs. My body fat % is around 17% and i'm looking to get it lower.
I eat about 2,000 calories everyday, and my bmr is about 1850

So, my question is, would lifting weights be useless for me? Or should I just skip weight training and do cardio?
 
Try to supplement your workouts with a couple of high intensity circuit training sessions, these are really good for body conditioning and burning those few extra pounds. There's a website called which has some good examples and advice about exercises and programs.
