I've tried Medifast in the past and found the taste unappetizing. I did a search for meal replacement shakes and came across Ideal Shape.
It got great reviews for both taste and success with weight loss...so I ordered it. It's not cheap...they had a special for January: 2 cans of shake mix and 2 boxes of bars for $99.
It's very low in calories...only 120 per serving but it's also low in sugar and carbs (I was just diagnosed as pre-diabetic). I like that it's not multi-level marketing like so many other wight loss shakes are...
I started using it last Wednesday...7:30am - Shake
10:30am -Shake
1:30pm - Bar
6:30pm - Dinner
Friday was my birthday so, anything diet was put on hold from Friday night through Saturday night.
I weighed myself this morning (as my official starting weight) and I was down one pound...which shocked me since I partied better than most!
I also want to start going back to the gym...I joined Planet Fitness about a year ago and was going fairly regularly until I hurt my knee about a month ago...the knee is fine now so, no more excuses...
