Triceps!!!

I start off with pressdowns 4 sets of 10-12 then do skull crushers 4 sets and raise the weight slowly after this I do 3-4 sets of closegrip bench with 8 reps last but not least I do dips onthe bench. I would like to know if im working each part of the tricep out ide appreciatethis if im not working eachpart out just give me and excercise to use thanks alot :)
 
It depends if your isolating when u do ur pushdowns.

I find that pushdowns work well for me. My triceps are my biggest muscles.

After your bench press or shoulder press you will only need one more exercise to finish them off.

I have found that the pushdown is the only exercise that makes my triceps balloon out, I'd stick with that as its is more usefull in everyday life that kickbacks, or behind the head raises.
 
To work the outer area do exercises with the hand in the thumb up position such as pushdowns with a rope, dips, dumbell kickbacks, etc.
For the inner area do exercise with the thumbs pointing inward such as skullcrushers, pushdowns with a bar, close grip benches.
Dips and kickbacks will also hit the upper or middle area.


So I would say it looks as though you are covering it very well. :cool:
 
So, you're doing 12-16 sets for triceps?

How long have you been training? Because, it sounds like you're overtraining triceps, unless you've been training weight weights pretty regularly for a couple years. Seriously. They are a tiny muscle, and get worked every time you do a chest based pressing move. Tiny muscles should never regularly get the same volume of training as a large muscle group like back, quads, or pecs.

You don't have to train the triceps 4 different ways every session. 2 should be god's plenty unless you're already friggin huge and a veteran bodybuilder.
 
Ive been working out for almost 2 years I have a nice horseshoe as people say but theirs that one part behinde the arm which is the back of the horseshoe which I wanna improve on which excercises could improve this part? thanks
